Drowned Boy
A mass started in a small church at Coimbatur. A large group of people entered the church carrying the corps of a little boy who had drowned in a well. His mother threw herself on St. Francis Xavier’s feet and begged for him to bring the little boy back to life. St Francis Xavier started reading a small prayer and held the little boy's hand; the child rose and ran to his mother.
Cobra da capello
There was a pair of youth who accompanied St. Francis Xavier as catechists. During the night, one of them was bitten by a cobra da capello (snake). In the morning they found him dead. Xavier took same of his saliva from his mouth, he touched the foot that was bitten by the snake and made a sign of the cross over him. St. Francis Xavier took his hand and he rose from the ground instantly.
Malignant Fever
St. Francis Xavier often was sent among sick children and raised another 2 people. St. Francis Xavier came upon a funeral procession bearing a youth who had died from the Malignant Fever. He knelt down and looked upon the heaven and prayed for the dead boys life. He then sprinkled holy water over the dead body. St. Francis Xavier made the sign of the cross took his hand and he immediately rose.
Buried Man
A man was buried the day before St. Francis visited their town. The two owners of the church didn't believe in God so in order to convert them, St. Francis Xavier knew that he would have to bring the man back to life. St. Francis Xavier prayed to god in tears, he told the church man to dig up the grave. When they opened the coffin the man was alive.
